I asked this awhile back but I was wondering if any of the latest updates encompasses sonobuoys.

Specifically, will we be able to let patrol aircraft drop sonobuoys on their own or do we still have to do it manually with each one?

Aircraft or helicopters that are patrolling inside formations (whether ship or shore based) will lay their own sonobuoys automatically as part of their patrol, but aircraft launched on separate, non-formation missions will only release sonobuoys manually.
