I downloaded it (The Blitz, I think) and I thought it was wonderful. Therefore, I elect you to do something really awesome for this incarnation. How about Sweden - didn't, I know, but could have -I'm thinking a Scandanavian knock-down/drag-out. They had a few nice light tanks and intering planes.

I downloaded it too. Mike, a great Job. It looks fine and your oob´s are very detailed. I´m working on a Lebanon War Addon 1982-1985 and a Bundeswehr-Addon 1956-1999, based on Divided Ground. A lot of work (now i see how many hours are necessary to create a Addon/Mod!) and i hope that i can finish both until this autumn.

Sorry, been away from the comp for a few days!! Here is a link, as asked, my apologies for not doing so before-http://www.theblitz.org/mods/index.php.

This is indeed a mod for Divided Ground, and while you DO need the cd to play the game, you don't need to install anything, the download is the complete game. So far, I am still finishing up the unittxt/pics (F2 function) files, two countries left to do there, then I will make the files available for that part. There is only one scenario so far, done by Chris Hobbes, a fine work, but desperately need more material, I myself am more of an idea/modding man, not so good at scenny design, although I plan to hit that as soon as I finish the rest of the files! My hope is for Matrix to develope this soon, adding some much needed enhancements/functions, thus the need for me to finish these files, and get some scenario's together to offer. The game is fully functional, only things missing are the unittxt/pics, and they are almost done.

Thanks for all the replies, and please feel free to ask about anything that comes to mind regarding that mod. My Bulgarians are included in the Matrix edition, I believe some scenario's were done for those, but I never got any done for them either. I would like to make a squad-based mod, with single vehicles and 40-50 meter hexes, and also a Civil War version too.

This sub-forum is a great idea, thanks to all involved for making it possible!!

I bought my copy from NWS. (hint)

Got my monies worth so far playing the Vietnam mod PBEM with a couple of friends and played in a tourney at the blitz.

Plays fine on my XP Home SP2.

Long range tank fire and on board helos and aircraft add a whole other dimension to the series.

My wish list is for scens for Cold War, Korean War, Gulf Wars, SAW.
