Compared to CCAW?

How does this compare to CCAW? I own CCAW original and I am having a hard time deciding if spending 40+ euro on this is actually worth it, considering CCAW features a shitload more scenarios and stuff, although it is admittably older..

So, if you can post what major improvements are(Aside from graphics which I dont care about, being a guy that play ASCII games xD), such as AI being VASTLY improved etc, I'd really appreciate it!

While I appreciate a point of view that says that newer isn't always better, in this case I think we've done enough to make a good case for you to upgrade.

I can't honestly say that the AI is 'massively upgraded' we did make a number of improvements and also fix up a few problems that we found along the way, so its definitely better.

You say that graphics aren't important, but that's not all we've changed. The interface, as other posts will attest, is outstanding and once you've used it you will never go back to the old DOS game.

The new CAW is a modern application, so it runs windowed (if desired) and you can customise the resolution. And though I've been playing CAW in some form or other for a very long time, even I appreciate the popups and tooltips that are an integral part of the new game.

This modernisation extends to the editor, so if you've ever wanted to muck around with the scenarios or the AI, it's now much easier.

Lastly, there's multiplayer, which will take playing the game, even for a veteran, to a whole new level.
