Global Glory v2.01

Announcing Gary Grigsby's World at War - Global Glory (GGWAWGG, or "gog"), version 2.01.
Certain problems with version 2.00 have been corrected, and small tweaks made. The largest change is the unfortunate removal of the Russian surrender event, because it does not look like this can be made to work well for play until there is a new patch for AWD. Several of Lebatron's suggestions were incorporated as well.
About Installation
The files have been posted at the WarGamer site.
To install, download the file and extract it into your AWD directory. This will overwrite your "dat\wawgoldscenario.txt" file (which contains the list of scenarios) in order to add GGWAWGG. The rest of the installation is new files (nothing else overwritten). If you wish, you can copy that file to back it up, or even copy the entire AWD directory and install the mod into the new copy.
Summary of the Changes from v2.00
* Removed Russian surrender event (it may be reinstated with a patch, but doesn’t work well now).
* Removed Portugal joins WA event (superceded by the more targeted Azores lease event).
* Removed Brisbane port, added Port Moresby.
* Factory in NSW starts repaired, 15 WA supply removed to compensate.
* Air-in-range-of-New-Zealand SP bonus removed.
* Russian FM=2 WR threshold reduced from 17 to 16.
* One Russian militia moved from Grozny to Odessa.
Summary of the Mod
This is Total War (1939-1946) with an increased emphasis on oil, enhanced strategic value for ports (some transport capacity rule tweaks), reconfiguring of the Med for realism and playability, and new political events including surrenders for Russia, Australia and India.
There is a detailed description in the zip. A summary of features:
* Non-Military Resource consumption for Germany, so that every resource is valuable, even in the early game.
* more resources in the Middle East.
* factories in key zero-population regions to model historical oil refining capabilities (Trans-Jordan, Sumatra, Borneo).
* modified transportation rules that provide greater value to ports, and a simple transportation interdiction model (enhancing the strategic values of Malta, Norway, and Hawaii).
* added several random political events, including surrender events for Australia and India. These surrender events can be quite appropriate for non-AV play.
* tweaks to the Mediterranean, including the transport rules but also the placement of a (neutral) Italian transport in the Central Mediterranean, which prevents the typical British naval stack prior to Italian entry.
* other rules to provide more interesting dynamics to the USA and USSR war preparedness, such as possible strat-moves for the USA while politically frozen.
Future Changes and Ideas
As always, I'm looking for feedback. Forwarn45 had an interesting idea about allowing Japan to somehow modify her actions to prevent or reduce the USA's resource embargo, which I still need to think through.
The next patch will probably allow _all_ units in Belorussia to occupy E Poland upon finalizing the Partition Agreement (right now it only moves 3 inf, 1 armor, 1 fighter, 1 tac, i.e. exactly what exists in Belorussia in standard AWD, no matter what a modder puts there). With this code change, I plan to modify the scenario to have lower Soviet WR threshold (probably back to AWD) but put more starting units into Belorussia (which would put them into E Poland via the Partition Agreement ... forcing the Sov Player to move units to E Poland is the motivation of the higher WR thresholds in GG).
