I'm curious as to whether we'll be able to do an in game upgrade when the next patch comes out. I'm asking this because I'm considering starting another pbem game - is the patch arriving quite soon (ie weeks) or later rather than sooner?

good question - but i doubt you'll get a definitive answer since it has not been the policy to reveal exactly WHEN a new patch will come out...

However, i think since one came out just recently, you'll have many weeks (probably) before another one shows up.

Whether a restart is needed depends on if database changes are made... and that is not known ahead of time.

Well, even when database changes are made, a restart is not technically "required". But it is "required" if a person wants to pick up the database changes.

We currently have no completed items on the list for a next patch, so I suspect it will be at least 3-6 months before there is another patch. As to data changes, Pry is working that project. When his data changes are done, we will release a patch containing them.
