I thought i read somewhere that units could fire from atop horses now

is it possible for mounted troops to assault enemy hexes?

Patrick

what? no one else wants to give them the bayonet? I only ask because I am creating a LCG game that depicts the Philippine Scouts during 1941-42 and one of the scenarios I am developing would involve a cavalry charge...

They used to be able to, and still should.

I also believe that the riders can fire while mounted now too!

Not only that but there is a massive bonus given to troops that assault whilst mounted. Of course they are very vulnerable on the way in.
