If I've added the v112 patch (Feb 2007) that is available generally,
do I need to add the v112 patch (Jan 2007) that is on the "members"
site?

Not silly at all!  The short answer is no.  It fixed a couple of very small glitches and added a little tweak to the recon AI but otherwise very little changed.
