Just a note to say THANK YOU to Matrix Games, Jason, Asiaticus, John Tiller and all others involved with resurrecting the Campaign Series.
It's a credit to you all to have the vision and dedication to breathe life into the series and I'm sure I speak for a lot of players when I say I am looking forward to playing the game for many years to come.
Oh, and I hope you are making a reasonable ROI [:'(]
Regards, Chris

Couldn't have put it any better. I bought the package this weekend and have been exploring all the add-ons that I missed from Talonsoft, and the fascinating new nationalities and units. I've just GOT to play the Thailand / Vichy France encounter at the battle of Yang Dang Khum!
Matrix, thank you for rejuvenating these terrific games. I thought they were gone forever but I see they are now in safe hands. Well done to all concerned! [:)]

I totally agree with this vote of thanks!
CJ - what is this I see? That old sea battle game from Intellivision?? I loved that game, not realistic at all of course, but lots of fun!

oh yeah, many thanks.....it's just like 1998 all over again....
except now I have a 5-year old daughter at my side asking me "what's that?" about every unit on the map!

I spent much of the last two days with 9-year old grandson, doing much the same thing... He was fascinated, especially when I kinda explained it was like having army men and tanks shoot at each other instead of pretending on the floor with toys. Then his mother quipped the ole refrain, "Only difference between men and boys is the the cost of their toys" [:D]

Ya, big flashbacks. I only had one kid back then, dialup, PII 350mhz, 96mb RAM on Win98 with onboard sound and video.
