I did a little scenario just to test out some of the new goodies and to my wonderment I discovered the Luftwaffe invented a true stealth ground attack aircraft. The ME-262 is silent, I mean an airstrike by three pigeons would make more racket.

Was a sound for jets included and will a little tweek of the platoon file fix this? I have the CS Converter and can perform maintenance tasks of a simple nature. I would listen to all the sounds myself but my audio players won't play ogg files.

Also, when I opened the org editor I received the following amorous communique...

Company 01 Line 6741 Invalid unit reference 1756 (or words to that effect.)

What is the exactly CS converter ?

For Jet sounds ... look at the Talonsoft's "Divided Ground" files ...

CS converter will convert platoon, company etc oob files to obx which the program uses, as well as the weapon.pdt to a weapon.pdx. Some Blitz old timer out there ought to be able to tell you where to find them. Check the Blitz.

I know about the Divided Ground sound files. I phrased it poorly in my post, but I need to know if this is a lack of sound files, or is the sounds.dat and platoon files screwed up as well. If push comes to shove, I can fix this myself but then it would probably be wiped out in the next update, unless the CS Legion is aware of and addressing the issue as we speak.

It's pretty sraightforward to install and you can play all the .ogg files you want.

I put the movement and weapon codes in bold for the platoon line:

I did a manual audit and copied the missing sounds from West Front to East Front and cast an eye over the sounds.dat, which was entirely in order. In the scenario in question the skies joyfully scream to the sounds of mating ME-262s in spring cavorting happily.
