Am I missing something? I checked both here at Slitherine and reread the rules.

How the heck do you watch a replay of the other chaps turn in PBEM?

Definetly need's it ... Units are dying everywhere just in France and the North Sea ...
Air attacks .. and even the fact that they miss ... 0 damage .. does not mean you should not be able to know where the Tac .. or Ftr is .. but that he did no damage tell's ya lots about strength ... and where they are deployed ..!!!

FOW is 1 thing ...!
FOD is quite another ..! who was that guy who hit my CV w air ... where is that guy .. Denmark .. can he hit Oslo .. Tac .. Ftr ... eh .. lol

I see the damage he get's on my troops .. when I attack .. replay should be NP ..

Replay would be a definite plus for PBEM and theoretically it could be coded but maybe there is a lot of coding needed.
It would enhance the immersive feeling of the game if you could see your front diced and destroyed in front of your very eyes [:)]

Yep ... Agreed .. DF has knocked a few Ger corps out of attack on France ... I would like to see how and why ...
Also I would like it if repairs could be partial .. PP are hard to come by and I dont need to repair some units full strength .. nor want to ...

No replay in PBEM is dissapointing to say the least.

Can anyone verify that it is possible to see what the opponent does in LAN-games. Or is it the same thing with no information at all? [&:]

For TcpIP games you see directly what your opponent does and turns are very quickly sent also when you end turn. Takes just a few seconds to switch and let the other player move. Also, for TcpIp we have a chess like timer system where both players have a certain time per move and unused time gets carried and saved for later (like in chess).

TcpIP is where the game truly shine IMO :)

I'll say! It's a deal breaker for me.

I have tried TCP-IP and after a couple of hours of floundering around we got a game started, tried to repeat this and no go. Tried again and it worked. This really needs detailed explanations of how to go about starting a game etc etc. Iposted a question on the support forums both here and at slitherine but so far no answer.
You appear to see the opponents moves and battles including FOW effects and this could be the way to play, if I could work out how to do it [&:]

An official comment on the replay for PBEM would be nice! I will with all probability post a review of the game on my website soon. One of the games features (or lack thereof) I was to adress as rather negative was the missing replay function; which I wanted potential buyers, not interested in pure AI-play, to be aware of. A firm Slitherine statement that this will soon be added in a patch, would of course lessen the impact.

I haven't had time to test the TCP-IP play yet, and will do this before I write anything. Considering the fact that CEAW is very fast played, with many short turns, it might very well be preferably before PBEM. My principal co-players machine is down because of some hardware failure. Once up and running we'll have a go at it! [:)]

I dont see any thread about multiplayer in our forums? Also there is a sticky on our forum with details about how to start up multiplayer.

PBEM feedback is indeed on our wish list and as soon as the dust has settled we'll be prioritising that and getting to work on a patch.

I am starting to think that maybe some situations would make this game much better and have a defenite effect would be to have ..
Action points for naval units ... just like air intercepts .. make the naval units intercept also ...

One more reason ... I have a CV battlegroup in East Med ...
CV .. 2 BB .. DD and sub ... After I have taken red sea route .... in east med
I move trans into the @ ... means the sea route thing ... shows up in 1 turn in red sea
How are the allies gonna know that I moved through ... even though he has a garrison on west side of canal .. see's my guys going by ...[8D]

If he see's units moving through then he would pull troops back to Cairo ...[X(]

And with a unit on the west side of canal why am I able to move through .... Cause the port is controlled by the 1 city hex .. [:-]
