Really enjoying this game, which is the 3rd incarnation of Carriers At War that I've bought.
Question for anyone who knows: Does anybody else have a "Temp" directory in their Carriers At War directory that has a number of debug files with some strange entries?
By "strange", I mean that it appears the game is looking for some items it can't find, though my game hasn't crashed or done anything odd TMK.
Just wondering about this. For instance, the game appears to be looking for some wav files it can't find. Also some bizarre notations about "Hope there's a War Card for this".

it's just a debug file.not sure what the notations mean but it can be turned on or off in the advanced options section.

As far as I know those are debug files and I'll have to let Alex answer for them. I wouldn't worry too much about the notations, in my experience programmers have all sorts of stuff left in debug files, usually from the debug versions of the game that we create for testing that end users never see.

I was wondering about these debug files since they don't seem to be left over from the programmers, but are new files written in the "Temp" directory with every game I play (though I've only played the Coral Sea scenario yet, five times) and I note that the messages in them indicate wav files and War Cards that the game seems unable to find.
Again, as I mentioned above, I haven't noticed any problem with the game itself.
For sure, no big deal. Just curious.
