When I try to open the manual from the menu, nothing happen except Adobe 8 won't open at all, making me restart the system. I can open the manual directly from Adobe.

Using Windows Explorer, you can look for the manual on the CD/DVD and copy it to your desktop and then click it open. It worked that way for me.

Thanks, I can do that, too.  What I need to know for a review is do other people have problems opening it from the menu.

Don't have this game but had exactly the same problem with the Harpoon III manual. After updating to Adobe 8 there is some 'hourglass' activity from the mouse cursor and then nothing.

I think it might be a problem with Adobe 8 as I had no difficulty prior to the update.

A bit OT but this made me look for another PDF reader (As Adobe is so laggy with picture heavy docs) and found Foxit Reader 2.. which is less than 2 meg download and is so much quicker that I've since deleted Adobe off my HD.
