The small animations (flags, fires, etc) and some of the button graphics have square "ghost" borders around them. For example, a round command button doesn't show on it's own, you can see the graphics file square border around it. Ship graphics with flags flying and decks burning also have this.

Any idea what might be wrong?

PS... the game is awesome! I used to play the old SSG version, and this new edition is incredible!

This problem cropped up once or twice in testing and was solved by the testers updating their graphics drivers.

I'll give it a shot...

checked my graphics drivers and everything is updated, and it's still happening...

I'm on a pretty solid/quick Toshiba Satellite Laptop with plenty of speed. memory, etc...

Don't know if anyone else experiencing this...
