lets see now...
Now I just need to figure out a quick n easy way to make all the hexes line up between the on-map image and actual in-game hexes.
Oh, small feature request SSG; when you're laying down map hex designations, like Open, Forest, Impassable, etc can you make it so that rightclicking lays down a "blob" of five hexes; making laying large stretches of ocean much easier?

and i have for the Sur*map a .png texture uses, but if i load the game it´s crashed on desktop.
Can you give me a few Tips, please. [:(]

You need to have the following images and sprites as:
surpearlharbormap
surpearlharbormaphexes
texpearlharborobjectives1
--------sprpearlharboralldobjectives1
----------------245------488
----------------1------242
--------sprpearlharboraxisobjectives1
----------------1------244
----------------1------242
texpearlharbortheatre = 154 x 115
--------sprpearlharbortheatre
----------------1------153
----------------1------116
texpearlharborminimap = 154 x 115
--------sprpearlharborminimap
----------------1------153
----------------1------116

Hi Ryan
Now the patch is finally out I've been trying to make a couple of maps (Tasman Sea and Western Med (Gibraltar to Malta)) using these sets but I'm getting nowhere.
Can you please run through how you created the maps that you posted eariler in this thread and how you got them to line up to the hex grid?
Thanks in advance [&o]

That's actually a very nice map!
It's the first time I've seen the Northern and Western Isles undistorted on a wargamer's map.

Kiwi,
I'm not sure how they get them to look that good either...especially the water. Anyway, I neglected to send you some files I promised a couple months ago so now I'm going to send those along plus a couple maps. Maybe you'll want to use them and maybe not. I'll send the maps with and without the hex-grid.
For example here is the western med (oh, I think that this is approximately the correct scale for the game so that airplane ranges s/b relatively accurate)
