I never get a crash report as the game never gets a chance to start. The error message that pops up is with the header, Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library : "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way." And it specifies the Ufo.exe as the runtime error.

Ok, I changed my regional language settings back to United States and it started to play before crashing. It plays through the whole intro movie but always crashes to desktop with an error report after the intro is complete, I never get to the game menu. So, here is the crash report.
