I have Windows Vista. Tried to run the demo and program hangs. Get a Washington splash and then a black screen with the clock running and then is goes back to the initial screen with no reaction. If I alt-Tab a couple of times I get a box that says American armies are awaiting orders. Closing this gets me a game display on the left with unit and game info, a mini-map and small black area. If I use the menu to exit the game, window will then give me an error that says "This program requires D3DRM.dll, which is no longer included in this version of Windows." I assume this is a directx file, but direct x tests good.

Is there a compatibility mode in Vista for older programs? You may try that.
