How do I get the tutorial to actually teach me?

A map, units, and no text explaining or showing what to do even as an example. How is this a tutorial?

Look for the Players Guide pdf (this contains the instructions for the tutorial). This should be located in the manuals folder (or if you have the c.2003 retail box there's a printed copy in the box).

Thanks. I did just find it and prior to this didn't realize it was the tutorial text. I thought it was a quickstart (which I guess, in a way, it is). This makes my life a lot easier. Thanks for the fast reply.
