Airbase location scrub request

Development team:

Could you double double check the location of the airbases for the upcoming release? I was stationed at the Joint Analysis Center, RAF Molesworth, UK when BtR was originally released. Back then, I knew that a couple of airfields where out of alignment. Looking at a couple of maps now, there are more than just a few out of place. Most blatantly out of place that I can identify is RAF Mount Farm. The cool thing about being stationed in England was just driving around aimlessly, and discovering old pieces of history, like airfields or castles. I want to go back!

Are you mocking the names of our villages? I don't blame you [:D]

On Kefalonia there is a village that translates as "little cat". That's my personal favourite.

Some of my favorite names in England were:

Woolley
I saw the sign for this every day as I drove to work at RAF Molesworth.  Every time I thought to myself, double you, double oh, double ell, eee why?  I don't know why!

Yaxley
Didn't do too much drinking in the UK as I did in the ROK, but the image was still fresh.

HARD Sarge,
I'm emailing you my spreadsheet for the 8th AF.  Don't know if I'll have time or resources to scrub anything else, movers are coming tomorrow.  I'm leaving Japan for Buckley AFB, CO.

Things I did find in the scrub are as follows:

BtR's RAF Mount Farm http://www.controltowers.co.uk/M/Mount_Farm.htm is actually RAF Watton http://www.controltowers.co.uk/W-Z/Watton.htm.  RAF Mount Farm is located SE of Oxford, which is wnw of London.

RAF Rougham is the same as RAF Bury St Edmonds.  http://www.controltowers.co.uk/B/Bury_St_Edmunds.htm.  BtR has both airfields listed separately.

I couldn't find a good location aid for Little Walden.  My resources (my books/maps) didn't list it.  More research is needed on it to determine it's proper location.

Special thanks to www.controltowers.co.uk, www.303rdbg.com for their map of 8th AF base locations (credited to Jane's), and www.maps.google.com for their resources I used to complete this scrub.

Now, who wants to scrub the 9th AF?

RAF Mount Farm was a satellite for RAF Benson. It is located ~4 miles N.W. of Benson.

I'd love to help some more, but the movers will be here within the hour. I'll be out of the loop for a while, till early September, when we arrive at Buckley AFB, CO.

Found a decent map of 9th AF disposition. The movers, however, shipped my printer today though...
