Hi, I'm pretty sure I saw something somwhere that the patch solved the problems with running the game at resolutions like 1680x1050. Is this correct? If it is I'm going to buy the Paradox retail version from a local retailer today and patch it up with the GamersGate patch, even though I would rather buy the download version from Matrix [:(]

Ah, sorry, yes that's true. The exception to the rule with UFO, since this is the only restricted title I mixed it up.

I am playing wide screen right now and it work well.

I am using the GamersGate downloaded version from Strategy Firts and their patchs and it work well.

That's a shame, I won't buy this one unless Matrix sells it.

Matrix run one of the few download sites that I trust in terms of being able to keep my assets.

Its no accident that I have so many Matrix games, their online store has the right combo of user rights and security. I have been burnt by online DRM in the past with some flight sim addons and refuse to go near any product that requires online activation.
