And the battle continues. I did a succesfull counter attack near Moscow and defended the heavy forests directly north of the road between Moscow and Siberia. Furthermore is reorganized production and chain of command and made Moscow Front and Siberia Front self supporting entities.

The remainders of the Stalingrad Front managed to escape to Grozny and will form a new front there.

Meanwhile the Rostov offensive is still going strong. And i wiped out a small pocket of german panzer units close to Rostov before advancing in all directions. North of the Crimea i also severly dammaged some german reinforcements.

Oh my gosh!  Is there hope![:)]  Interesting turn of events!

Yes, interesting in Rostov.
But the germans will now use the big hammer on Moscow [;)]
They just have to capture a hex which is only one hex away.
In range of artillery and planes.
 
Rostov attack is annoying for the germans since they have to send parts (bigger parts ??)
of their reenforcements to that area. I know that too good from a own game against Vic.
But Moscow will fall i´m sure.
 
But Vic´s russians have my respect for their fight.

Where's the Partisain units that disrupt the german supply line??? Or is this some kind of internal feature and there are no Partisian units?

In this scenario, partisans attack captured Soviet production centers. Maintaining supply lines for the Germans is very difficult, especially if the Soviets have access to the Black and Baltic Seas.

Here is German turn 17, May 1942:

In the North, I focused on the flanks and got to within 2 hexes of cutting off Moscow. I was also able to capture the hex NW of Moscow. I will be able to launch an assault next turn from 3 directions.

Here is the South. Trying to contain the Rostov offensive.

What ever happened with this? did the Soviets finally fall?

Vic had to surrender after a great fight. Tom is just to good with Germany here.
