naming armies, supply prob

Is it possible to change the names of armies/stacks? If so, how?

Also, I have a problem where two supply units absolutely will not join an army in the same territory with them. Is there something about supply and armies that I'm not aware of?

Sorry no, you can't rename armies.

As for the second point, it does not makes sense, can you send me the saved game to support@ageod.com please?

I don't have a savegame for that problem, I basically restarted a new game (I'm still new to it, mostly learning how things work) and haven't encounted the problem again.

There is another question, however: Naval artillery saws on its tooltip that it cannot leave the region it's in except by ship. In my current games (savegame available if you want it) I have two units of naval artillery, and neither one can be moved by ship. If I join the artillery unit to an oceangoing fleet (that has enough weight to carry it), the fleet will not move out of harbor if I try to give it that order, and there's no message at the top of the screen telling me what's wrong, as happens for other illegal moves. Is this a bug?

Also, would it be possible to include a feature that allows players to rename armies in a patch?

Naval artillery won't move problem: yes this has been reported, I should be able to fix it upon returning from my vacations, in august: I plan to add the AI enhancements of AACW back to BOA and make a nice little patch at this time.
Army renaming: this can definitively be done, but in the end this is a question of priorities. I would say it will have to wait the patch after the next, so more around september.

Glad to hear about the naval artillery thing being fixed. And like you, I consider the unit naming option to be a small thing, it's just one of those things I like to fiddle with.

Thanks for replying so promptly!
