I am about to finish my centaurus project, I have biult it all except... Generator. It says, that it has to be researched, but my scientists can't research Generator nor anything else. What do I have to do to get it?

I already have the generator as all I need is the left/right engines....I think you need to capture and interrogate more commanders..........
