Rising Sun (Slightly Modified): Spence(IJ) vs Erstad(Allies)

This is the 100 turn Stock Rising Sun Scenario slightly modified to remove some Japanese Forces which were elsewhere during the SRA Campaign. The editor was not used to effect this modification
Specifically:
1)HIJMS Shokaku and HIJMS Zuikaku and one random plane guard DD for each removed from the KB when it arrives in Feb. These ships were detached from KB for a yard period from mid Feb-mid Mar 42. They arrived in theater on the very last turn of the scenario. In the game they will simply remain in port at Palau when they arrive.
2) One regiment each of the IJA 33rd and 55th Divisions. One reinforced regiment of the 55th Div was actually the South Seas Detachment (perhaps that last word should have acted as a clue to OOB guys) and one regiment plus a good deal of the artillery of 33rd Div was in China throughout the time frame. In this game the "C regt" of each division will be searching the Central Highlands of Vietnam for the Holy Grail and the Arch of the Covenant pursued only by Indiana Jones.
3) We started with a historical first turn. Just to see what happens I turned Dec 7th surprise off. The only apparent effect was that the bombing of Clark Field did not knock the airfield out of commission: damage to the field was on the order of 30%. About 15 US planes were either shot down or destroyed on the ground. Allied bombers from Clark Field made an ineffective run against the Ryujo TF.
I haven't played Stock in a goodly while (I like CHS); apparently since before the last patch. The first couple of turns there was a bit of a problem while seemed to elude solution until I discovered that I was using a different earlier version of the game that my opp so there were no combat reports generated. Having updated my version that problem has been solved anyways.
12/08/41 - 3 British destroyers from Hong Kong attack an IJN transport fleet near Batan Island. They are intercepted by Destroyer Squadron 2 led by CL Izuzu and in a one sided engagement all 3 RN DDs are sent to the bottom.
The initial Japanese attack on Legaspi is beaten off by Filipino troops and the landing force is withdrawn the following day largely intact. The forces will be redeployed.
Chinese guerillas damage the airfield at Hong Kong. Some additional police units are dispatched to contain the disorder which subsides on the 10th.
12/09/41 - Khota Bharu falls to IJA 18th Division. British units retreat in disorder.
