I think that Pocus suggested in the AGEOD forums that you use another program like WINAMP or something similar to play your music while playing the game, including the AACW MP3's in your play list.
 
This would be an appropriate time to mention that the excellent music by the 2nd South Carolina String Band that is featured in AACW is available via download and CD...and would be an outstanding choice for anyone's AACW play list.

Well i bought one of thier albums, southern soldier. yes its good, need to buy the rest. I wanted to add them to the in game music. I am currently using windows media player in the background but it kind of slows down the game. Guess i have a memory issue. Be good to add them with the rest of the music.

IIRC Pocus said he'd have to clean up the code to allow music to be easily introduced, but that was before the sound patch...Perhaps when he is back from vacation, he'll enlighten us?
