I have zero doubt this game is a GEM, but I am sorry I can scroll on a unit with my mouse but cant click , the manuel is very well written explaining the game but not at all on how to play it?

Again I am CERTAIN this will be a classic but I can NOT even figure out how to get it to work?? I have over 400 computer game and do not until now consider myself imcompetant . please give up a TUTORIAL!!!!

CSS it depends what screen you are in when clicking to activate a unit. After firing up the 1914 scenario click on the grey arrow in the top right of the screen to take you to the mobilisation phase. You can the left click on a unit and position that unit anywhere within the borders of your power (I think) it's like your initial setup when you are done use the grey arrow again. You then enter the strategic phase. Here clicking on a unit gives you some more options at the top. Starting with select nation you get to research do diplomacy your air and naval assets supply and refit there maybe more but thats the sort of thing again use the grey arrow. You get some news events and air and navel reports. You are now in the activation phase. Here you can left click on HQ's to activate them it's the meat of the ground game you can move your units in the next phase within your own borders but they will be unable to attack or invade without the HQ being activated in this phase. Once you are done activatin HQ's use that grey button again this takes you to the orders phase. Now a left click brings you up a menu to what you want to do with the stack a right click cycles through the units. Sorry this is primitive but best i could do for the minute.
Took me ages to work out why I could't use Moltke to attack Belguim on turn 1 till I realised that I wasn't at war with Belguim soon solved though I fired the game up again and declared war from the diplomatic options earlier on. Stick with it Sir I'm sure you are right this is a gem
