I was just trying the demo, is there a zoom facility on the map?

None of the games in this series have a zoom function for the entire map.

They do have a "magnifying glass" feature that pops up a circle, of very limited area, that magnifies about a 3-4 hex radius so you can better make out the unit graphics. You have to hold down a key to enable it...I forget which key...maybe alt or cntrl or shift. You can move it around and it stays up as long as you hold down the enabling key.

I find it only somewhat useful and wish the zoom level overall could be altered.

Thanks, just tried, it's the alt key. Indeed , it's useful, but not a replacement for an adequate zoom level. Thanks for the help.
