I am playing as central powers, is there any way to slow or stop the British from bombarding me? Does anyone else feel that the damge they cause seems to be a tad bit high? I can understand sea bombardment but their accuracy seems a tad bit high for damage.

Not sure what you mean because there is no sea bombardment in this game!!

hmmm, It was showing the british ships when it claimed that my troops got hit by artillary fire, although I should have looked at the bottom to see where the fire was coming from; I naturally assumed it would be from the sea becuase the screen concentrated there, I will recheck the next time I play.

OK - it displays fleets in a single stack in the sea zone - so maybe it was just a coincidence that you saw a stack of them while you read the combat results.

And the answer to artillery is to do what they did in the war... start digging those trenches and keep digging them.
