Problems with score

In one of my play with CHS 2.08 Scen 158, I have severe problems with score. We are in the first month of the scenario. While my opponent sank me more ships, shotdown more aircrafts than me and take bases, my score (allied) is grewing more than his. The number of my bases in the game is grewing when actually must be his numbers.
What is the problem ? is this a bug ? could have a solution ?
Cheers and thanks in advance.

PS: Excuse me for my poor english, it is not my native laguage.

FOW is included in the score.

Points are added and subtracted each turn for bases in good supply.
Bases being built up will also increase the score.

Thanks Halsey for your quick answer. I think this could not be the problem...the info window tell me that i have TWO more bases that the previous turn... and I have not take anyone from my opponent...for the other hand, any base was ugraded yet.I am so confused with this. I annex a spreedsheat copy with the score details.

There is apparently Fog of War (FOW) built into the score as previously noted... i have shown that in our own PBEM that the score does NOT necessarily total up if you add up all the subcategories (i.e. if you add points for a.c., ground troops, bases, ships, strategic, it will not necessarily = total points.) Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.

EDIT - it appears your score (like most people's) varies because of supply issues. These day to day variations are because of the AI supply officers getting supplies to different bases in an irregular fashion (as they did in real life).

If you check (for instance) the daily intel screens in (allied portion of) the Threadwar, you will notice points for bases fluctuating several hundred points in a day - this is (apparently) due to supply. Check the rule book to see exactly how much this is supposed to be, but, iirc, if a base is out of good supply, points for it can be halved. The bases do not have to change hands for this to happen.

Manual says 25% of normal victory points for 0 supply.

Hmmm... i thought it said something about 50% for less than optimal supply - but maybe i read that elsewhere... 25% for 0 supply is a pretty good penalty on top of any other one.
