Just purchased the game today, had following back a year ago with interest but decided to take the leap and purchase the game, enjoyed it thus far, have a question since will be playing only the CFL game play, have downloaded most add-ons uni, stadium etc and was searching to find a CFL roster 06-07? saw some threads that spoke of one at fbmax.com but been unable to locate it? is there one available or are you able to upload rosters in the game itself?

I think VCFL Commish made some but not sure if he made them available

I created a the full 2006 CFL Roster, including fictional players for the Ottawa Renegades, last year and uploaded it to FBMAX, however I went looking for it last week and couldn't find it anywhere, including in the Unsorted section.

I'm hoping it's not lost, as I REALLY want to update them for this year. Then again, when I ut it together, it was for a previous build, so I'm not sure how well they will work with the current edition of Maximum Football, and might be the reason it was removed.

Maybe that's the issue I am having, been trying to find or create an accurate current CFL league, and I was looking for you very roster as well.

not sure myself , but i thought in the past others had done rosters but found they could`nt inport to a league or export from one league to another. I know one of our fellow posters on here , found a windows , dos game , that has a lot of different cfl seasons , and nfl , college and such seasons . They have pretty much rosters for each team to .Have to dig through but can make a pretty good roster . Iknow he was recreating 1980 season and i made up uniforms from that time for him .

I also just took the plunge and bought the game as well.  I have been reading this site and wandered through the stuff availible.  I really only wanted a CFL sim to play and this seems to do a whole lot more.  Now I guess I can set up my uber-CFL league!  I look forward to participating and contributing to the community in the future.

PS - Has anyone done more of the CIS, I've seen a few teams from the West, and FBMAx only had one team?

If you look through the unsorted files on FBMax, you'll find a few. I did the Alberta, Calgary, and Saskatchewan ones. The other one, IIRC, is Waterloo. At some point, I will do more CIS ones, but probably not anytime soon.

Hey guys,
I wanted to thank you guys for putting all the uniforms and satdiums at fbmax.  That really makes the game for me.  One thing that I was wondering, we have some coaches and sideline camera people availible, but the one of the major things missing are the players on the sidelines.  The NFL is positivly crawling with people, and the CFL has the yardstick guys.   Is there a way to make them, or has someone tried?

The only way to add the sideline people would be to build them in as part of the stadium geometry. You would need to build them around the Canadian field sizes (just like the stadiums are). If you build them around the 100 yard fields, those people would 'on the field of play' for a 110 yard field.
 
Also keep in mind that you will be effecting frame rates by adding all that additional geometry (depending on the approach you take). Low frame rates effect the game play.

Well i know local8h done a lot of cheerleader, camera men and coaches , i`m sure he had problems doing those . I know just customising the cheerleaders takes a bit . I know in a few incidents i added stuff , but i changed things that involved cheerleaders . I put a cannon and crew for one team next to cheerleders . Though of seeing about putting mascots to . But found it will always show like 2 cannons in each end zone . So just depends what you like . I Took his miami stadium removed dolphin and put 2 bikini chicks in the pool . Just love what can be done graphicly about this game . So thats just a few ideals .
