Baseball Books

I know that there was a thread on the form earlier talking about a particular book regarding baseball. I have been on a baseball history reading frenzy and was wondering if any of the community would have any ideas of good books to read on Baseall.

I just finished Tim K's (I am not going to try and spelll his last name as I will butcher it) book about his last twenty five years in Baseball. I have to admit it was pretty good, but a couple of the chapters towards the end were a little on the preachy side.

I appreciate the help.

Thank you.

There have been several topics on this, so I'd recommend using the "search" function to find them.

It all depends on which historical era or particular team appeals to you.

I've been reading "The New Bill James Historical Baseball Abstract". Its got a little bit of most everything. I am loving it.
