Blank boxes

I downloaded it and started the game, got a black box when the cursor was over an option; went to new game- no scenario's listed- loaded the ACW fonts into my windows directory- still the same thing black boxes with a letter or 2 in them and no scenario's listed

have you tried uninstalling the game or have you updated your game with the latest patch?

I have ver 1.5; tried removing and installing; same result.

make sure that you have the font edmunds.ttf in the windows\fonts directory. Check twice please!

edmunds.ttf is in my windows font folder -still have same problem - UPS should be delivering my hard copy on mon. I will uninstall and install that.

So we will need to change the fonts manually in a text file, but this means that you will have some long texts which can be overflowing a bit from the windows. Tell me if the problem remains with the latest (1.06) patch and with your new version.

I got my hard copy, installed it and have experienced no problems, updated it to 1.6 and no problems. When I bought the game with dgital download w/ cd; I had problems accessing digitalriver, it took 2 days and couldn't get the site to upload, on 3rd day it came right up and I purchased the game and downloaded it, had errors when downloading it and redownloaded it, my best quess is that the files were being corrupted in the dowloading process as I had no problems with installing from the CD.
