Hey, I just got TOS:WS and after installing it (pre-patched to 1.21 by installer) it crashes after the Matrix splash screen and I get a memory error. Got 4gb and lots of HD disk. Don't think thats it.

Anyone else see this or more to the point know how to get around it?

Delete the two large avi files.  One's about 25 meg and the other's about 98 meg.

Thanks. I got past that problem, now when it shows the "Titans of Warring Suns" screen it crashes to desktop and the screen is messed up.

Anyone know what else I can try?

ok, I figured something out. If I go into the tcc.cfg file and manually change it to windowed mode it starts and I get sound.

How very annoying.....

I've never even heard of this problem  before.  Gratz on being first I guess.

I am getting a crash to desktop as soon as I get past the Matrix window. Where do I find the AVI files? I got a bitmap error 15.

To disable intro movies look for a file called tcc.cfg in the data\configs folder and open it with a text editor. Go to the bottom of the file and replace

intro_at_all = yes

with

intro_at_all = no
