Hi, it's me again
I'm kinda looking for a scenario in TOAWIII that is sort of like Europe Aflame, but meant to be played against the PO. Anyone?

Endfire;
I'd suggest you go here:
http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/downloa ... o=cat&id=6 and look around a bit.
The 'briefs' should give you a general idea, eh?
I heartily recomend any of Silvansky's mods, tho if you set the PO to 'strong' it may hand you your head, LOL! [:D]
I'll note that playing 'hot seat' can be done well with enough understanding of the scenario.
One simply
writes down befor hand each side's strategy, and then stays with it as long as possible. Often time the best way to learn, tho not as surprising as a 'good' PO, eh? Fighting yourself won't make you better at beating pbem opponents, but IS a useful learning tool.
Good luck on your quest, eh? [;)]

If you're lookign for scenarios your probably much better off going to
Rugged Defence, and browsing around there.
I'd second L'zard's vote for Silvain's modified scenarios. Trotsky's War (Originally by Ben Turner) illustrates an alternate WWII where the Soviets attack Europe.
The problem with a full WWII scenario for the PO is the infinite possibilities. A PO programmer simply cannot, yet, make a PO that can make the right descisions for a strategic war.
I'd suggest, then, that you go and pick up a game (or several, if you have a lot of free time on your hands) of EA against live opponents.

@Veers: The reason I suggested the GS dl section is that it lists the new(er) revs done esp for T3. RD's list is more Acow, eh?
@Endfire: The nice man has a point, tho. [:D][:D][:D]

Actually, it looks like RD is staying pretty current. Reason being is that they post what they get. As long as authors upload their new revisions they'll be displayed there. Hopefully designers will continue to upload scenarios there (as well as other places) so that we will always have a main depository for TOAW scenarios.

Thanks guys!
I gues EA is the way to go. I tried Trotsky's War against the Soviet PO, however my computer started taking too long between turns... (PIII 733mhz, 384mb SDRAM). Probably time for a newer pc...

You might try Trotsky's again with 3.2 It should be faster. The sea units take too long to move (unitil 3.3,) but everything else should be faster.

Well...EA has no PO, so that would not be a good solo scenario, unless you decide to hotseat solo both sides...

Hopefully he means PBEM, as that's what I suggested above.

No. However, looking at the e=objective tracks indicates the PO would do strange things, as Mark laid out the objectives based on wherte he wanted units to reconstitute and where he wanted numbered objectives, not on where he wanted formations to advance.
