Little France

Plagued by sudden boredom i choose to whip the AI as the Entente with all advantages to the AI and fixed setup to try some new things.
One of them was to go in the defensive on the western front and have a French - Italian conflict, which naturally only could be solved for the greater glory of France.
The light blue mean machine butchered their way through Northern Italy and to my satisfaction Italy soon regretted having joined the wrong side.
Anyway, given historical clashes in Piedmont i had expected France to get Piedmont but no, to my big surprise new France was created in Venice and the two hexes next to it [&:]
Some of my troops ended out of supply in the alps, with three full stack of A corps deployed in the Venice area [:(]
Ah well i thought i wanted to try something new so i took it as a challenge. Much to my surprise though i was not able to activate HQ's in Venice and i soon found out that Venice was no supply source so supply level was 0 % and the strategy phase had just ended so it was going to be a long summer....
Not content with being a whipping boy for the AI, Britain was in a position to invade Trieste which was of course empty, so supply was restored the next impulse [:D]
