1. What the heck do you do with the navel units, I thought they were replacement for the sailors on the fleets.
2. When I want to return to a previous turn do I put the cussor on the save game and then hit the home key which brings up the window and i click to confirm but then the games just hangs up there and does not re set to the previous turn am I doing it wrong?

Hi!
1- You mean naval engineers? They speed ships repairs. Keep them on your main harbors to speed cohesion and strength recovery of naval units.
2- Not sure if i understand our problem.
It takes your save one turn back each time you hit the key (until 12 turns back i think). But then you have to load the save game manually. It doesn’t load automatically.

No they are "sailors" and you buy them on the reinforcement table. They are called "First Navel", Second Navel" etc. They are land units and have a combat value of 25. They have an attribute that says they speed up river crossing for a stack of units. Silly me I thought they were replacements for manpower lost in navel battles. Now I wonder where the men come from to replace the manpower lost in said navel battles.
thanks for the info on the save game restart.

I believe they are just a weaker version of Marines. Don't they have the same fording special ability?
