The map is missing graphics for Ostend and Florence - the cities are there, but they don't show.

I've done a little crude cut & pasting to create graphics for the 2 cities as below. The map is a 37mb BMP file in the graphics folder - you can open it in MS Paint (or the equivalent), copy these 2 graphics in and use the coastlines and moutains to line them up - if you use the 800% zoom in MSP they are correctly lined up when the "border" between the paste section and the background map disappears.

These are in jpg - so yuo may have to save them as bmp files first....Florence....

...and ostend....

Bloody hell...this place has more missing cities than Atlantis!!

I really don't get the city graphic in GoA. It looks like some kind of cactus, or maybe a cluster of those worms which live aaround deep ocean sulphur vents, or something.

There are also 4 city icons with no names during game play:  Geneva, Bourdeaux, Stockholm, and Copenhagen.  At least that what I think they are.  Assuming Bourdeaux is capturable , it also has no value points? Also may need to verify spelling....

Maybe this thread needs to be moved to Support....

The city icons are grey buildings with square orange tiled roofs on some sections, and shadow in between.

City names are programming stuff - not the map, so there's nothing I can do about them.

You are kidding me on right? Missing Ostend and Florence? That bothers you? Have you even seen the UK???? lol [:'(]

Who cares about the UK - there's centres of culture missing!!

Ostend and Florence ARE cities in the game - you'll see the name for htem on the map, but no icon.

arrrggg....just updated to the 2nd beta and forgot to back up my updated map....Time to fire up PaintShop Pro again....
