I have noticed in HC, that frequently a dialog box comes up to alert the player about detections or loss contacts. ( Its the one that has the naval officer in CIC.) There are several "buttons" in the box. If the "SHOW" button is pressed the object detected flashes several times to highlight the detected item. Sometimes the box lists several items that have been detected. In this case pressing the "SHOW" button flashes the last item in the list. There is also a "SELECT" button. However, pressing "SELECT" also just flashes the last item in the list of detection. Can someone tell me how to use the "SELECT" button or some other method to cause other item in the list to flash.

     The Show button is just supposed to blink it, the Select button is supposed to make that group active (the selected group) when you get done with the Staff Assistant.  You are definitely spot on about it only blinking one even if there are multiple things reported by the SA.  That has never really bothered me, I generally despise the SA anyway (he should learn from my desires, not annoy me to no end).  Anyway, what does everyone think about the Show and Select buttons?  Is it a priority to be able to have the SA show the various different items on the map when he reports them in his message?

It would be a nice feature if we can scroll trough the Items if the SA reports more than one. Not always the last Item, wich will be selected now, is the one with the highest priority
But nothing with a very high priority.

Just so rene is not the only reply you ge to this - yess - THe select button should light up a different new contact and the show button should lock onto the on that was highlighted. that would be nice
