I think for Liberty is a great game. Unfortunately for me, I bought it when it was being distributed by Battlefront before Matrix took it over.

Looks like I missed any deadline to get support and that I am out of luck with updating my game.[:@]

Could some of you give any opinion on if the updates would make it worth me purchasing the game again from Matrix? [&:] If there has been little significant change, It doesn't make much sense to do so and I might as well just keep playing my old version. On the other hand I like the game enough to consider purchasing it again if there are big improvements.

Thanks - I'll give it a try. I was reading in a thread (tech support above) that the original expeiration date was past, apparently they extended it now at least until 2009.

Yes, we got so many requests from folks who'd missed the original window despite the press release that we discussed with Hussar and agreed to extend the window.

Sadly I have lost my updated key email (entirely my fault of course). So I have a newly patched version of FL that I cannot play.

Other download websites (like the inferior Gamers Gate for instance) keep my cd code for me. It's a shame you don't do the same.

We do actually provide the option to do that. All you have to do is register your game in our Members Club after you purchase it or in this case get the free upgrade key. Honestly, you have to save those keys folks - while we can help it's really a matter of personal responsibility. Also, for games that are actually purchased from us, you can always retrieve your serial number from www.findmyorder.com whether you registered the game or not, but this key upgrade process from another publisher is outside that normal loop, so it's up to each gamer to register.

Why don't you e-mail me your old Battlefront code if you still have that and I'll try to find what serial number you wer assigned. Send it to me at erikr@matrixgames.com.

I take it the serial number on the box is not the key you need as I sent it in and received nothing back.
