How are losses distributed?

I was wondering how losses are distributed throughout a stack. Randomly? Top unit in stack? Evenly? etc [&:]

IIRC each strength point in a corp more or less "dices" independantly to see whether it becomes a casualty.

ok, now that you mention it I think it's in the manual.
