I want to add some eye candy to the 'List of Must Read Threads' by placing the titles on top of background images. 2 themes come to mind: stills from WW2 movies, or real life photos. I haven't decided which theme to use so far, so I'm looking for both...

Movie version: I've tried to find a good still from 'Patton', but no luck. He wasn't in the Pacific, either.

For "AARs" I'm looking for a pic with a fighter pilot describing his latest kill to his buddies, with his hands in the air - you know what I mean.

"PBEM": No idea, any suggestions?

"MODS": a photo of some heavily modified piece of equipment? A plane? A tank?

Is there a site with good Japanese WW2 photos? Any help is appreciated...
