Aircraft turnaround

Does HCCE have more realistic aircraft turnaround times (than HC)? Has this been modelled differently?

Aircraft ready times have not been changed in any way shape or form for HCCE. It is something I would like to see developed in the future, a surge capability then increasingly tired upkeep crews and a related slowdown in readying aircraft, things like that.
One reason this hasn't been done is that it will wreak havoc on all existing scenarios so it won't be implemented until we break the scenario file format at which time we'll have an easy way to tell whether to apply the new model or not (if new scenario, apply model, if old, don't).
The game may not even be released yet but for the old hands and those wanting to get a head start we've started a Wish Lists forum at HarpGamer for just such requests. Visit

Will HCCE have RAS capability or in flight refueling tankers etc for logistics sake or would that not be possible to incorporate in to this version of the game?

No RAS capability but there has always been a working in-flight refueling capability.

Actually - I do not recall there being an in-flight refuelling capability in the original product - maybe I am mistaken but I always recall having problems with my aircraft crashing and burning for lack of fuel.
In any case - tankers are always a welcome sight

Worked in some versions, failed in others.
It works in HC 97.

It is working in HCE, with some minor limitations (can´t be manually triggert atm)
