Hello all:

I just d/l the 3.2 patch and the fonts in the text boxes seem too large and the line spacing is small given the appearance of "squished" fonts. Does someone know the solution to this problem?

In your main TOAW III directory, open the "Opart 3 Fonts.ini" file using Notepad. There are four lines that say "windowsFont=Y". Change the "Y" to an "N" on each of the lines, then save the file. Then you will be using the TOAW III bitmapped text, instead of the Windows Fonts.

One can. However, even with the default dpi of 96, there are some lines that still overlap, unless you use a very, very, very small font size. In that case, it kind of defeats the purpose of the enhanced visibility that using brightly colored text in the fonts could otherwise offer. We haven't found a good "one size fits all" setting for the Windows fonts. They are there, and available to use for those who want to experiment with the Opart 3 Fonts.ini file to find a set that suits their individual tastes. However, the default will be returned to the bitmapped fonts for the official patch.

I really like the new fonts, but can see that they overlap a little. Sivanski's helps this out a lot, but the small font is really small [:D]. Thanx for sharing Silvanski!

You can try using plain jane "Arial" for the small font

I must say that I really like the window font option, its a lot easier on the eye than the old ones, even though they are small.
