IronX Counter Mod

Although it will likely take a few weeks to complete all of the counters, I wanted to share with you my progress as I go. Most of the German land units are now done. I've just finished the arty piece, but may yet replace the gun with a minenwefer if it looks better. So here's how they look so far:

It would be neat if there were a way to grab photo's of the actual leader of each of the HQ elements to put on the counter instead of all having the same 'generic' image. That would be a bit of digging around the net and then a lot of extra work though. Very nice look though, I'm going to have to write a little batch file that will swap yours with mine and vice versa depending on the mood.

There is only the one artillery counter, so in most instances I have chosen to use field guns (generally around the 75/77 caliber), but thrown in some different sizes for flavor. I have tried to keep the counters historically accurate so they display guns used by that nation during the war.
I've now completed all land units except for the US, which I should have done in the next day or two. When the US is completed, I'll do the naval units and then the mod will be ready to go sometime next week.

These counters really give a nice period feel to the game. Thanks for the effort.

May be someone already suggested it, but I think this mod deserves to be added in one of the next official patch.
It's too nice to be neglected [;)]

very good! if there's one thing I would change it would be to put white lettering on counters that are darker shaded (like Bulgaria). Putting it it in the next patch is a good idea.

Those counters look fantastic - the best of the (all excellent) counter mods I've seen.

The mod is nearing completion and should be done within the next few days. I'm now working on the last few navies. Here's an example of what the ship counters will look like:
