How does casualty count works ?

As far as i can figure out numbers on victory screen equals number of casualties on national status screen times 3 (and not times 2 as stated in the manual).

So far so good but apparently casualties from artillery are not counted anywhere ? Why not ? Therefore they are also not counted in determining exhaustion levels.

Oh and by the way apparently Netherland have made a coup in Greece. Their army is wearing the colors of Netherland [8|]

The Greeks and the Dutch share the same counters, originally it was one colour for all of the smalelr neutrals including Denamrk etc.  But as time went on it ended up being just the Netherlands and Greece still using that colour.

Casualties due to artillery certainly count.  You say you think there's a discrepancy between the 2 screens?  I'll look into that.

Thanks for speedy reply Frank.

I have just rechecked and artillery casualties are not counted in the show victory screen [;)]

Do you mean artillery being lost or casualties due to artillery?

The former, no, the latter, yes.

Casualties lost to artillery.

Hmm - i must correct myself. On the combat display of artillery barrages apparently not all "casualties" are deducted in all cases ?

Can it be that fortification helps reducing casualties or did i drink to much yesterday ?
