Save multiplayer game

Hello
Is it possible to save during a multiplayer game (after 15 minutes for example)(2 players via TCPIP) ? I don't see anything like that...

You have to wait until the end of each battle.
If you have a 15min time limit it will save at 15min.
20min... it will save at 20min
If you have no time limit you have to win/lose/truce the map

One way around this if you only need a 'short' stop in game is to 'pause' the game and let the game stay up until next time you can play. Have only used this once, but dont know any time limit to the 'pause' so a day shouldnt be a problem if both can have the pc up and running and have stable lines.
