Roster and Formation View Questions???

David,

I think some of the Roster Depth Chart slot positions don't coincide with the Formation positions. I set a player up as a corner back and the Formation editor had the person in a safety spot. Also seemed to happen with some Dlineman. Could I be doing something wrong?

I'm going to keep messing with it to see if I am doing something wrong, but I wanted to point it out in case it is something that needs fixing.

Anyone else notice this or is it just me. So far I really like the roster, depth chart changes.

Formations created with earlier versions of the game may likely need to be updated to match the new depth chart system. This is especially true of defensive formations because of the massive changes that took place.

In this particular case, I think that the formation hasn't been updated to move the player with the CB tag into the correct location on the field.

Unforunately, this is not something I could have update automatically. In previous versions all DB's were just called DB's. Now that they're broken down into more defined names, I don't know what icon was put where in all the formations.

thanks
David

BTW thanks for reminding me about this. This is probably something I should have spent more time educating the gamer base on. This question will likely come up pretty often I think but the answer is pretty simple. Older plays simply need to be adjusted to the new system.

thanks
David

Yes if you bring an defense from an older version into MF2 the SA and CB will be switched.  You also need to check the LB and DL.

Thanks for the quick response Dave, and sorry if I jumped the gun on a non-existing error. But you are right that it is at least a good question.

Again Thanks!!!!!
