Attached is an updated version of the Hornet Leader AAR posted on The Wargamer. It covers Dan's unfortunate Day 1 in the Libyan skirmish campaign.

So... What's up with 'Vital Missions'??

A Vital Mission is a special event attached to the mission. If the target is destroy, the Intel counter gets advanced 1 space along the Campaign Track. Intel modifies the number of Sites the enemy gets in the center areas of targets.
So, by hurting his Intel, I'll face fewer sites during future misisons.
