Building a QB Sneak im 8-man

Post by MPHopcroft1 »

One thing I've noticed missing in the default playbooks for the 8-man game is the option of having the linemen surge forward at the snap with the quarterback keeping the ball and coming right behind them to pick up a 2nd or 3rd-and-inches. I was thinking this might be an interesting play to build as a test of the PDS and wonder how to go about it.

I did this before, dont remember exactly but I think I had the LG, C, and RG block out, and the qb 'move to next point' straight ahead or to the side of the center towards the G with the highest BLK rating and strength.

Although I may have had the guards block left and right.....either way it seemed to work fairly well for a yard or so.
