Alex may have gotten him fixed up now. We'll have to wait until he tries it.
If you attempt to change your password or email, the forum locks you out for some reason. It happened to me awhile back when I tried to change my password. Dunno why. Chief tried to update his email.

How can Chief be locked out??..He is one of US!!!!!
Besides, anybody who changes their name to ???? will either need to start wearing a cape (like Prince), or do good impersonations of Frank Gorshin as the "Riddler"??

I have had the same thing happen to me. Got no help from matrix staff and their written up fix never worked. Damn pain in the neck that my original name and email is still being used by another member....... ME

This has been around for years. It's how I lost my 'victorhauser' username back in 2002. I just learned my lesson and never try to change my password (I have that disgusting Matrix PW taped to my PC so I can remember the damned thing).

Well...actually....if you look in my member profile...you will see this is my 3rd registry....I would have a lot more "postings" with the other 2, but still not as many as "Terminus" (which I believe is Greek for SPAMMEISTER..)[:D]
