Just dropping in to let you know that the Combat Command series is getting a new life. Mike Cooney, Dave Erickson and I are putting things together for a re-release that will include all the current scenarios plus some new stuff.
Stay tuned for more info.

Good to hear. I owned CC1 and then got 2 of the CC2 editions. I greatly enjoyed playing these, solo and PBEM, but I had trouble finding opponents. Hopefully a Matrix release will cure that.

I'm in as well! Lost my CC2's in a move and hard drive crash. Still looking to replace those even. Obviosuly would prefer a new, revamped one, but still hunting the old.......................

Some years ago I downloaded the demo to Combat Command 2. At the time I thought it a good game and yet even then I thought it was superseded by the then current crop of wargames of the same scale.
Since then even more games have been released and this version would need to be very special to grab my attention.
